CDC – Lyme Cases By State

The whole geographical thing amazes me. Is it possible that the places with higher rates simply have better medical care / more knowledgeable doctors?

Also consider the sheer size of various states – like Massachusetts is far smaller than New York, but the numbers are not too far off. Interesting indeed.
